CEREC®
CEREC, or Chairside Economical Restoration of Esthetic Ceramic, uses CAD/CAM to create dental crowns. Computer-aided design and computer-aided manufacturing (CAD/CAM) allow us to fabricate and place dental crowns efficiently in-office. Our dental crowns are made of high-quality porcelain ceramic that blends in with natural teeth. Dental crowns are also durable enough to cover weakened teeth as well as dental implants.
CBCT scanners
Cone-beam computed tomography is a diagnostic tool we often use to help patients who need one or more dental implants. It allows us to see accurate, three-dimensional images of the teeth and surrounding tissues. With CBCT scanners, we can find look for healthy bone for the stable placement of dental implants. This is especially important when placing implants to secure dentures or dental bridges.
Digital x-rays
We can capture clear and precise images of the patient’s mouth using digital x-rays. X-rays capture images immediately for a quick and comfortable examination. We can also save and access these x-rays easily. Compared to traditional x-rays, modern digital x-rays do not expose patients or dentists to high levels of radiation.
i-Tero scanners
i-Tero scanners are intraoral scanners that take digital images of the teeth and gums. With this scanner, we can show patients images of their mouths in real-time. Intraoral scanners not only diagnose dental problems but are also used as a tool to educate patients about their own oral health. And no more messy impression trays.
